24 Series Finale

*Spoilers*

So its been a sad week for me and I’m still pissed at the television networks for canceling my favorite shows; to include 24, lost, mercy and trauma. However I was satisfied with the way 24 was summed up in its final installment. Jack Bauer finally gets through to the President when she see’s his final tape; like a goodbye message almost. President Taylor decides not to sign the peace treaty and more importantly save Jacks life; who only moments ago was taken by men assigned by the President to kill him. Dahlia Hassan discovers thanks to Meredith Reid; that her husband was killed by Russian operatives who were being directed by Yuri the Russian President. I was taken back by Charles Logan killing his little puppet who was working inside CTU as well as shooting himself in the head; upon seeing the President withdraw from the conference.

Jack was saved by the President but was told to leave the country because not only would the Russians be hunting for him but “we” would too. Jack after learning he must flee calls Chloe to thank her and to make sure that his family is protected by CTU.

It ended just the way I thought it would, as Jack Bauer never fails, he completed his finial mission and is on a new one to save both him and his family, setting it up for a perfect movie(which is in the works). I am sad that the show is finally ending after 8 years, I agree it was getting repetitive, but it certainly was better than some of the garbage on tv. I was satisfied and happy as a fan with the way it all concluded and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I didn’t spoil it all in this review, there are plenty more twists and turns along the way that make the episode more than worth watching; so enjoy.
