NATO Troops invade Russia
Today marked the first time since Victory in WWII that NATO forces marched on Red Square. President Medvedev allowed troops from all over the world to participate in a parade making the anniversary of the VE date including American Infantry troops. The support was mixed in Russia as some opposed any foreigners from marching near the Kremlin, and others simply enjoyed the parade for what it was. I think this is great, and Russia needs all the free PR it can get. It’s not like it was just Americans marching in the parade, it was Brits, Germans, former USSR satellites and Chinese. It’s funny it took this long for just a parade.
Here’s a Reuters article on it, where image is sourced from.
