Killer Shot 21 Times: Survives

I believe I have found Superman and while he may be invincible he is not the moral standard. A Harlem man has survived being shot 21 times by the New York Police Department. Police were responding to a fight outside of a party in Harlem when the initial officers saw Angel Alvarez fatally shoot Luis Soto. Officers then say that Alvarez turned his weapon on the officers and a fierce gun battle broke out and 50 shots were fired. Most of the 50 shots came from police and 21 hit the mark.

Alvarez a man with a rap sheet longer than my arm was incredibly lucky as none of the bullets pierced anything vital however I hear he is lacking a brain. I may have made that last part up but what idiot shoots a man right in-front of the police? His family says that even though nearly every part of his body has a hole in it he is doing “alright” and is talking.

The gun battle left six wounded including two of New York’s finest.

Some eyewitnesses are disputing the NYPD’s claims of what happened that night. They’re saying that a few officers in plainclothes never identified themselves as law enforcement. The witnesses went on to say that they never heard anyone say “stop police”. None of this is of any consequence though because when a police officer feels like his life is in danger he is allowed to shoot first and flash his badge later. Furthermore there were marked officers there as well and they witnessed the man shoot and kill someone in cold blood; what more justification do they need to open fire? It’s a shame that the tax payers of New York have to pay to keep this idiot in jail now.
