Fidel Castro has recently said that Osama Bin Laden, the world renowned terrorist, is a “bought and paid for CIA agent” that former President Bush used to scare the world. Fidel says that documents posted online by WikiLeaks prove that Osama was in fact working for the U.S. Government but would not elaborate on which documents. Fidel told the State Media that “any time Bush would stir up fear and make a big speech, bin Laden would appear threatening people with a story about what he was going to do.” While at a meeting with a Lithuanian conspiracy theorist who further advances world domination theories Castro said “Bush never lacked for bin Laden’s support. He was a subordinate.”
Castro has been making a lot of provocative remarks recently specifically at the former cold war foe; The United States. Castro even implied that the last few games of the World Cup would be cut off because of nuclear war but later apologized for jumping the gun. He has also claimed that Osama bin Laden’s voice was last heard in September 2001 and that the audio recordings of him after were all “bad actors”. It appears as if the sickness that forced him to step down as leader of Cuba may have also affected his brain.
The possibility is there however that Osama was a paid CIA agent specifically during the time of the Soviet-Afghan war in which the CIA was funding “insurgents”. While he could have been an agent in the 80′s it is highly unlikely that Bush would have risked being caught siding with the man who killed thousands of Americans. If WikiLeaks has provided the proof then where is it? I think WikiLeaks would have jumped on the opportunity to further destroy Bush.
I do agree with Castro that the man appearing for a few tapes after 9/11 was an impersonator and I strongly believe that Osama is dead and buried or wishes he was because hiding in caves and wandering through the desert at night is no fun. Castro’s rumors have gotten worse with his age and the fact that he was speaking to a conspiracy theorist in front of State Media says it was just a publicity stunt. I’m not sure it was the publicity Cuba needed as it is a time where Obama has been slowly loosening restrictions on the island nation.
