Assault Rifle Left On Back Of Police Car

The best part about the story is that the acting watch commander for that precinct was the one driving the car with the loaded assault rifle on the back of it. The “investigation” is starting at the precinct level so no doubt this will go nowhere. I’d like to know what special training the one officer received for him to forget that he loaded and placed a large weapon on the trunk or what distracted him from putting the weapon away. Sadly these idiots make upwards of $40,000 a year.
