Below are of some of the hottest gifts of the year and some that you’ve probably never heard of. Just like Santa’s this list has options for both the naughty and nice.

The Nice List

Kindle Fire – The tablet war is still raging but with the economy still in the gutter many people are cutting back on the amount they spend on Christmas even though consumers spent a record amount on Black Friday. The Kindle Fire isn’t an iPad and that is a drag for many people that are dying to be hip but the price and the fact that it is different is what makes it desirable. At a mere $199 dollars on Amazon the modified Android device is a must for those who want a fully fledged tablet at an unbeatable price.

Apple MacBook Air - Is hands down the most desired computer of the year that’s almost as thin as a tablet when closed. Apple hit it out of the park with the design of this computer and of course it runs the globally recognized OS. They start at $1,000 but you’re sure to be the most loved family member of the year.

Motorola Droid RAZR – The hottest Android phone on the market right now is the RAZR. The reincarnation of the original flip phone is sure to please normal consumers and tech geeks alike. It can run the latest Google OS Ice Cream Sandwich, although it is loaded with Gingerbread, and it’s made of Kevlar. It features Gorilla glass and is safe from accidental drops in the toilet. It is the ultimate phone. It starts at $300 dollars.

The Margaritaville Drink Maker – If you’ve ever wanted to impress your friends with the perfect drink without taking them to the best bar in town then this is for you. Not only does it shave ice and blend for you but it also mixes the right amount of ice with the ingredients for the drink you’re trying to make. It takes all of the guess work out of bartending. It makes 32 ounces of frozen goodness and is $200 on Amazon.

Roku LT Internet TV Player – Internet TV is the latest craze and it won’t be going away anytime soon. You can surprise your loved one with over 300 channels streamed to nearly any TV in 720p in addition to streaming internet radio through your TV’s sound system. It has built in wireless, is smaller than almost every competitor and is cheaper than Apple TV. It will cost you $50 bucks and opens up the world of Netflix, Hulu+, HBO GO and 697 more options. What’s not to love?

The best part about the holidays is that pretty much every working stiff gets the day off. It’s a time to be spent with loved ones and it gives you an excuse to put the kids to bed early and that brings me to my next list. The following are things that are a little more spicy than the Red Hots you usually get in your stocking.

The Naughty List
