Fox News: Military Women Should Expect To Get Raped

Feb 14, 2012 by

I’m not sure how anyone can watch Fox News seriously and turn around and call themselves “pro-America” or a supporter of the troops especially after this video. Apparently the United States military shouldn’t have any type of sexual abuse counselors, support centers and services all because women serving in the military should “expect” to be raped according to Liz Trotta. Never mind the fact that she didn’t mention the increasingly alarming amount of male on male rape in the military.

On Fox News over the weekend, she belittled proponents of women in combat and derided “feminists” who complain that uniformed ladies “are now being raped too much” by male soldiers. As evidence, she cited a recent DOD report that assaults on women had risen 64 percent in the past six years. “Now, what did they expect? These people are in close contact,” she told anchor Eric Shawn.
