Police Torturing In Chicago?

A Federal Judge has sentenced a former Chicago police officer to 4 1/2 years in prison for lying about the use of torture to gain confessions. Former Police Commander John Burge, 63, was convicted in June for perjury after he lied in a 2003 civil suit brought by one of the victims of the torture. Burge was let go from the Chicago police department in 1993 but he was never tried with torturing victims before the statute of limitations...
